Alternative Outcomes

Alternative Outcomes Theatre Company developed from our partnership with the Dukes Theatre. The company was formed in 2013 and offers fresh interpretations of universal stories informed by experiences of homelessness. Company members have surprised themselves with their achievements and have gained confidence and transferable skills – and a desire to remain involved.

Our latest production

Alternative Outcomes are currently working on "After the Floods" which will open at The Dukes on 5th December 2016, the anniversary of Storm Desmond.

In December 2014 we toured "Ebenezer Dealer”, our adaptation of Dickens "A Christmas Carol”, to centres in Wigan, Preston and Kendal. The final performance played to an audience of over 150 people at the Dukes Theatre who were roused to give a standing ovation. BBC Radio Lancashire broadcast a recording of the play along with interviews with the cast in a prime time slot on Christmas Eve, and there has been considerable media interest.
